Cancel a YouTube-billed membership
- Sign in and open Paid memberships.
- Open the management options for Premium or Music Premium.
- Choose cancellation, continue through the prompts, and confirm.
- Check the membership’s status and the date benefits end.
Google Play and Apple billing
If your membership is billed through Google Play, manage it in your Google Play subscriptions. If Apple bills you, use your Apple subscription settings. The receipt and membership page help identify the right route.
Before you leave
A pause option may be available for eligible memberships; read the conditions and restart date. Cancelling normally stops future renewal while benefits continue for the rest of the current period. Check the exact date in your account. Deleting the YouTube app does not cancel payments.
