Cancel Nitro or Nitro Basic
Use the same device type as the original purchase: desktop/browser purchases are cancelled there; mobile purchases use mobile billing controls.
On desktop or in a browser:
- Open Discord’s settings using the cog beside your username.
- Select Subscriptions and find the Nitro or Nitro Basic banner.
- Choose Cancel and complete all confirmation prompts.
- Verify the expiry date and cancellation status.
Mobile purchases
In Discord, open your avatar, then the settings cog. Under Billing Settings, select Manage Nitro and follow the cancellation prompts.
Alternatively, use the paying store account:
- Apple: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Discord.
- Google Play: open Subscriptions, select Discord and cancel.
Benefits normally continue until the current paid period ends. Separate Server Boost, server and Premium App subscriptions have their own cancellation processes.

Refunds
Cancellation is separate from a refund request. Discord’s standard policy requires Nitro requests and purchase details within five days of the initial purchase; approval is reviewed individually, with limits and promotional exclusions. Apple handles iOS App Store refunds.
Check the current refund policy and your applicable regional rights. For Discord-reviewed purchases, submit the request through billing support.
