Cancel Apple Music on the web

Apple devices and other billing providers

On an iPhone or iPad, open Settings → your name → Subscriptions, select Apple Music and cancel. If an expiry message appears without a cancel button, it may already be cancelled.

For Google Play billing, cancel through the Android Apple Music app or Google Play subscriptions. If a mobile provider bills you, contact it. Check whether Apple One supplies your music access before cancelling a bundle.

Apple’s device and billing-provider instructions.

Music after expiry

Apple Music catalog songs and playlists containing catalog music become unavailable, and Sync Library turns off. Music you already had on the device before subscribing remains available. Save a record of playlists you want to rebuild before access ends.

Read Apple Music’s current cancellation guidance.

Refunds

Cancelling stops renewal; request any refund separately from the billing provider. For Apple purchases, see Apple’s refund request instructions. Approval depends on eligibility and regional rights.
